A hands on MISO MAKING FERMENTATION MASTERCLASS plus UMAMI supper - we will make miso together with a jar for you to take home with you. During this masterclass, we will introduce you to the magic of koji, teaching you all about the power of enzymes, moulds, textures and tastes. This one off masterclass and supper will be hosted by myself, Jules, Owner of The Plucky Pickle and Robin Sheriff from The Koji Kitchen, one of the few koji makers in the UK lovingly making small batches and teaching people about the world of koji and miso.We will also enjoy an UMAMI supper together:Welcome sake shot / glass of Cloudwater BeerMiso butters and Koji cultured umami pastes with sourdoughTsukemono (Japanese pickles) served with riceSweet amazake magicTickets £50 per person, including a drink from Cloudwater, all equipment and ingredients supplied for miso making together, plus umami supper.
