This webinar will take you through a KS3 SOW for ‘The Crucible’ and then more generally implementing Yoruba myths into a module on mythology

This KS3 scheme of work webinar, hosted by English Teacher and Training Programme member, Dr Sean Donnelly, will take you through a SOW for Tomi Adeyemi&#x27;s novel &#x27;The Children of Blood and Bone&#x27; and then more generally implementing Yoruba myths into a module on mythology. This session has been designed for teachers of KS3 students.There will be an opportunity for Q&amp;As.All resources will be shared after the event to support you to bring this text into your classroom. And the webinar will be recorded. Teach First has recently published the following documents:•	<a href="https://www.teachfirst.org.uk/reports/missing-pages" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Missing Pages Report</a>, which voices Teach First’s recommendations for increasing racial diversity in the literature we teach•	<a href="https://www.teachfirst.org.uk/missing-pages-library" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Missing Pages Library</a>, a collection of book recommendations from our community and the public, full of works by ethnic minority authors they wish they’d had a chance to study at school.These webinars are the next steps towards creating the change in the English Curriculum we need to see.
