Description

"Mitochondrial dysfunction: understanding the problems to find solutions"

Mitochondrial European Education and Training (MEET) Program is funded by EU (http://www.itn-meet.org) within the frame of PEOPLE Programme (ITN Marie Curie Action) and it consists of eight world-class basic science and clinical centres of excellence* and four SMEs** with direct interests in mitochondrial medicine. The program translates scientific and technical advances into the education and training of 11 PhD (ESR) and 3 postdoctoral scientists (ER) in fundamental and clinically oriented aspects of mitochondrial medicine. The MEET project aimed to offer a multisector and multidisciplinary training to its ESR and ER in the field of mitochondrial medicine, but also focusing on the development of management and communication skills.

The MEET Consortium has organized the final scientific and dissemination event on the 12th of December in London. Outstanding speakers will present their work:
