Do I need to know how to knit?

No. Full instructions will be given. The mitred square is a simple garter stitch and is easy and quick to learn.

I am already a knitter and have lots of yarn scraps that I would like to use up?

Great. Bring along your favorite yarn scraps and needles if you like. We will be using Double Knitting Yarn and 4 mm needles will be provided. Each square will need around 10g of yarn but you can mix colours within the square.

What if I dont finish my square in the class?

No worries if you dont finish. Materials will be provided to knit a cushion sized blanket and you can take your work away with you and complete it at home.
