This relaxed and gorgeously creative bookbinding project begins with the chance to create personalised covers using colourful acrylic paint and spontaneous mark making. Low confidence? No problem! Tamsin will encourage you and give ideas if needed!
While your cover paper dries we will fold and cut down the pages to make your sections, choose sewing thread and ribbon.
After a break for lunch, (20% discount available in Fisherton Mill's Cafe!) we will fold our concertina spines, sew in our sections over ribbons and add covers. Hey Presto! You'll take home a beautiful handbound journal that has plenty of space for your ideas, doodles and collections.

Tamsin Loveday is a professional artist and bookbinder with more than 15 year experience of teaching and leading creative workshops and courses. She is active in the arts and health and arts and heritage sectors and has completed Mental Health First Aid training.
