Calling all Modern Calligraphy fans! Join our wonderful Modern Calligraphy tutor, Nicky Chadwick, for a wonderful session which focuses on creating fabulous Modern Calligraphy using both dip pen and brush pens.

The workshop covers:

• Introduction to the lovely art of modern calligraphy

• Introduction to the pens and tools

• Warm up exercises

• Curves, pressures and basic letter shapes

• Practising phrases

• Fun with colours

Nicky will guide you supportively through the process of creating lovely modern calligraphy using both a dip pen (traditional nib and nib holder) and a brush pen. She will bring plenty of inspiration and resources to share with you and you will get plenty of time to master basic techniques and go on to develop your own style as the workshop progresses.

The cost of the workshop includes a nib and nib holder for you to take home at the end of the session so you can continue your lettering journey!

Skill level: suitable for beginners.

£60 per person (includes materials and equipment - you will take away your own dip pen, pot of ink and practice sheets).
