Modern white spot mastery

Modern white spot mastery

Overview

Learn a minimally invasive approach to managing MIH and fluorosis. Discover whitening workflows and predictable treatment planning.

Course aims

To provide clinicians with knowledge and understanding of a minimally invasive approach to the assessment and aesthetic management of molar incisor hypomineralisation (MIH), fluorosis, and white spot lesions using whitening, Icon resin infiltration, and digital workflows.

Course objectives

By the end of this lecture, participants will have increased knowledge and understanding of:

  • The clinical features and assessment of MIH, fluorosis and white spot lesions
  • Evidence-based, minimally invasive treatment options and their indications
  • The role of pre-treatment whitening in supporting Icon resin infiltration outcomes
  • Digital workflows used in the design and fabrication of custom whitening trays.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the assessment and diagnosis of MIH, fluorosis, and white spot lesions
  2. Explain a minimally invasive treatment pathway incorporating whitening and Icon resin infiltration
  3. Identify appropriate pre-treatment whitening protocols to support aesthetic outcomes
  4. Describe how digital tools can be used to design and 3D print custom whitening trays.

GDC Development Outcome

Outcome C

2 hours verified CPD

All delegates will receive a FREE Icon patient kit worth £85.
