Who is this training for?

It is for anyone who wants to complete Module 10b, the practical component of module 10 - First Aid Training. This is the full module 10 / YL module K validation and consists of a face to face practical session, run in accordance with current Covid guidelines.

You must already have completed Module 10a, the theory part of Module 10.

Booking

The ticket you book will show the starting time of your session - your session will last no more than 30 minutes. You should plan to arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your session, and then leave as soon as your session has finished.

Booking for adults

You will need to have your Scouting(Compass) membership number to hand.

Order confirmation and an event reminder will go to the e-mail you enter.

Booking for Young Leaders

Under booking section headed "Contact Information" - Enter the parent/carers name and email address.

Under Ticket 1: - Enter the name and details of the Young Leader attending the course.

This process ensures relevant safeguarding measures are met as all of the emails will be addressed to the parent/carer and the presenters will know the name of the attendee

What happens once you have booked

You will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation (containing all these details and precisely what you have booked).

If you need to amend details or cancel the booking you can do so using the "view and manage your order online" link in your confirmation e-mail.

48 hours before the course is due to start, an automatic e-mail will be sent as a reminder.

On the day

In accordance with the module 10b Covid risk assessment, learners are requested:

• Not to attend the training if you have experienced any symptoms in past 7* days, or a member of household has in the past 14* days * as per Government rules at the time

• not to attend if you been told to isolate by NHS Track and Trace

• To avoid car sharing

• To arrive wearing a suitable face covering

• If using public transport please use appropriate face coverings for your journey, and change this on arrival at the training venue.

• To wear clean clothing and put it straight in the wash after meeting.

• To use toilet facilities at home immediately prior to coming to meeting.

• To maintain social distancing at all times.

• To arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your designated time slot not to enter any buildings unless authorised to do so in accordance with local RA stipulations.

• To use the Track and Trace app and scan the QR code on arrival.
