We want to help you identify and break down the barriers that prevent you from fully supporting our community.
About this event
We are a charity so we ask you to make a donation when booking your ticket.
Requirements: You will need to complete Module 1 before Module 2.
This ninety minute awareness session will help you to understand
- The historical, physical and interpersonal barriers that LGBTQ+ community face in their everyday lives
- What LGBTQ+ people want you to know
- How to break down the barriers and make your services more accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly

The OutHouse is an Essex based LGBTQ+ Charity which celebrated its 40th year in 2019.
Since 1979 we have been supporting the LGBTQ+ community throughout Essex and have extensive experience in delivering training to and working with local organisations to ensure LGBTQ+ people feel safe.
