APRS and Planning Democracy have teamed up to present a series of webinars on engaging with the planning system to get the best results for your local area and nature.

This webinar will help you to understand the role of planning in protecting and enhancing biodiversity, the laws around nature protection and the policies designed to prevent further loss of biodiversity.We will show how wildlife data is collected and used to improve our knowledge of biodiversity. We will discuss how data can and should inform how and where developments are built.We will have speakers from the <a href="https://cieem.net/" title="https://cieem.net/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management</a> and the <a href="https://nbn.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/NBN-BBD-Data-Leaflet-A4-final.pdf" title="https://nbn.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/NBN-BBD-Data-Leaflet-A4-final.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Better Biodiversity Data Project </a>APRS and Planning Democracy are working together on these webinars. We rely on donations to keep our work going and so we have a suggested donation for participants, however we don’t want anyone to be unable to attend due to the cost so there are also free tickets available.
