Moon Journalling - Red Tent creative workshop

#Bunker178 is a post-apocalyptic pop-up bringing events to Southampton and beyond. The Bunker is a safer space that showcases top quality, out of the ordinary performers including music, poetry, storytelling, theatre, film and talks in spaces across the city.

Join Jani in the Red Tent space for an introduction to Moon Journaling. This creative, hands-on workshop is for women*, and explores how to keep a journal in tune with our cyclic feminine nature - whether we have a monthly bleed or not - following the lunar month and the seasons and, for those who menstruate, the cycles of our own bodies. 
Bring your own journal (suggested A5 blank/dotted, but if you prefer another style & size that is fine) - drawing, writing and other materials will be provided but please do bring your own if you wish.  Open to women* aged 16 and above. 
*This session is for female-identified people, using an inclusive definition of “woman” and “feminine” - we welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified.

Accessibility info:-
The event is held on our first floor, which is accessible by a wide staircase with a sturdy banner, and seating is provided. We regret that, due to space and other constraints, we are unable to relocate this particular event to the ground floor for those who require level access - so sorry.   Jani is experienced in creating accessible spaces, if you have any specific requirements to enable you attend please get in touch.
Travel information:-
We are a city centre venue and parking can be in short supply. If you are driving, please make sure you leave plenty of time to find a space click here for a map of where the nearest parking spaces can be found.
We are about 10 minutes walk from Southampton City Centre train station and on the route for most city centre buses.
