Is there an age restriction on the event?

Accepted Answer

This family event is suitable for ages 9+, but all are welcome. Please be aware that all attendees under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and are the responsibility of that adult throughout the event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Accepted Answer

By Car: The campus postcode is MK7 6AA, and plenty of free parking is available. Please park only in marked car bays identifiable by two parallel white lines. Disabled parking is also available and can be identified by appropriate signage.

By Bus: To get to the OU, use the Arriva bus service – 9/9a

What food/drink will be served at the event?

Accepted Answer

No food or drink will be served at the event, however there are vending machines and water fountains available in the café area of Berrill building.

What happens if I can no longer make the event?

Accepted Answer

Please either cancel tickets on Eventbrite or contact us at stem-news@open.ac.uk. We usually have a long waitlist for this event.

Question 5

How accessible is the venue?

Accepted Answer

The Berrill building has level access in most areas. There are on-site designated accessible cap parking spaces. Accessible WC and Braille signage are available around the building. An assistive listening system is  installed in the Berrill Lecture Theatre. More info from stem-news@open.ac.uk
