Light up the night and join us for the Moonlight Walk 2025 on Saturday 4th October. This 7km seafront walk celebrates life, love and friendship, and helps raise much-needed funds for local Hospice care in Hastings and Rother.
The Moonlight Walk is perfect for all the family to enjoy,including your well-behaved four-legged friends. This year will be bigger and brighter than ever before - so grab your fairy lights, your Moonlight Walk t-shirt and join us for a memorable evening.
What's new for 2025?
• A new, shorter route, starting and ending at The Stade Open Space (the half way point will be the St Michael's Hospice gardens).
• A glowing lantern installation at the end of the walk, which will be a beautiful tribute to loved ones.
• Live entertainment and suprises along the way.
• A memory screen, full of photographs and messages to people we miss.
• An event village with food stalls, face painting, light up merchandise and entertainment to get you in the mood.
What does registration include?
•A paper memory lantern to decorate in honour of someone special (with a battery tea light provided at the event).
• A Moonlight Walk 2025 t-shirt.
• Snacks at the half way point.
•Entertainment along the route.
• A reward for completing the walk.
• Seven stars to share with family, friends and colleagues. Each star can be sponsored and dedicated to someone special in their lives. Pin the stars to your t-shirt and carry them with you on your walk.
What else do I need to know?
• The Event Village will open at 4.30pm and the pre-walk warm up at 6.15pm. Walk begins at 6.30pm.
• You'll need to arrange own transport. There's plenty of parking nearby, and Hastings train station is just a mile away.
