This free event will provide Citizen Science training in the Modular River Survey physical habitat assessment method (MoRPh CSci).

Who is MoRPh Citizen Science training for? This training is for volunteers and river enthusiasts who are interested in gathering information about the current quality of physical habitat in their local rivers and their potential for improvements, with an emphasis on the River Crane. The event will teach you to become a MoRPh CSci surveyor.

Why record data using MoRPh Citizen Science? The MoRPh CSci method records observed physical features and helps surveyors build skills, knowledge and understanding about how the physical processes in rivers create and sustain the diverse habitats needed by aquatic and water-dependent wildlife. It will introduce how the data collected from MoRPh can help guide decisions for identifying suitable river enhancements.
