Liberation Art Gallery is a not-for-profit working Art Gallery, creative workshop and therapy space in the heart of Brighton's historic lanes. Liberation Art Gallery uniquely combines exhibitions with wellbeing and therapeutic programs. We provide an events and exhibition space for artists as well as artist support and representation. We offer creative workshops for beginners and those seeking to reconnect with their creativity in a welcoming and inspiring environment. Beyond this, we offer accessible Art Therapy and mentoring programmes.

It’s not just a workshop—it's a moment of connection, creativity, and appreciation for Brighton’s artistic soul.During the workshop, you'll:<ul><li>Explore the art of mosaic-making in a relaxed, welcoming environment - perfect for all ages and abilities</li><li>All materials are pre-cut for convenience - cutting optional</li><li>Choose from a gorgeous selection of colours, shapes and textures to design your very own mosaic masterpiece.</li></ul>You'll leave with a finished mosaic piece to take home, as well as a solid understanding of the basic techniques to continue creating mosaics on your own. Feel free to bring along your own personal items to mosaic, this could be discarded jewellery, buttons or any small momentos to make it more personal and create a meaningful piece.Choose an add-on to create a heart-shaped mosaic photo frame for a personalised gift. Nestled in the heart of Brighton, our gallery and creative workshop and art therapy space reinvests all profits directly back into our community programmes, ensuring quality exhibition space for artists and individuals, families, and young people, especially those facing barriers to education, mental health support, or inclusion can access high-quality creative and therapeutic experiences. By joining our workshops and events, you’re not only nurturing your own creativity, but actively helping us deliver free and low-cost art therapy, outreach projects, and wellbeing initiatives to those who need it most.Cancellation Policy:We understand.that plans can change, and we do our best to be fair whilst protecting the sustainability of our workshops.<ul><li>Cancellations or date changes must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled.workshops</li><li>Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop or non attendance on the day are non-refundable</li></ul><ul><li>As a good-will gesture, we are happy to to offer a transfer to a future workshop of equal value subject to availability when at least 48 hours notice is given</li><li>Workshop credits must be used within 3 months of the original workshop date and cannot be exchanged for cash</li><li>We are unable to offer refunds or workshop transfers for same-day cancellations. As materials, artist fees and staffing are already commited.</li><li>In rare and exceptional circumstances please contact us directly.
