Join York Civic Trust and Creative Avenue York for this FREE, creative workshop inspired by the local heritage of Acomb and Westfield.

Join York Civic Trust and Lise-marie Newman from Creative Avenues, York. Join us for a FREE creative 3-hour workshop introducing the art of mosaic making. Basic skills and techniques will be demonstrated and you will be able to create a unique artwork inspired by familiar landmarks in Acomb and Westfield.

This relaxed and welcoming session is suitable for all experience levels and encourages experimentation, creativity, and personal expression. All materials will be provided — just bring your curiosity and imagination.

Lisa-marie is an exhibiting Mosaic artist and member of BAMM. Also a fully qualified Art Teacher with 25 years experience in secondary to adult education. Lisa-marie is also an Art Tutor for City of York Council, 'York Learning' workshops.
