Attendees will learn why and how to dissect moths

Wharncliffe Road Ilkeston DE7 5GF United KingdomThe day will start with an introduction to dissecting moths. Attendees will then dissect two or three moths with assistance from the tutor. The number of specimens dissected will depend on the confidence of the attendee and the difficulty of the species chosen.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own specimens to be dissected during the session. Alternatively, a range of specimens will be made available for practice by the tutor.
The location is in the centre of Ilkeston, served by bus routes from Nottingham and Derby. There is a rail service from Nottingham and Chesterfield to the station approximately 1 mile away. Car parking is in council car parks within a five-minute walk.
