Moth Morning - Ullapool Library
Meet some moths and learn more about their importance as pollinators.
As part of the Green Library’s project, come along to this drop -in workshop to learn about moths. It is perfect for beginners, nature enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the wildlife around them.
There are over 1000 species of moth in Scotland but we rarely see them. Many are very distinctive and beautiful, playing a vital role in ecology, coming out at night and pollinating many plants.
During the session you can get up close to moths and learn how to recognise a variety of local species. You can also learn about our Hawk-moth survey and how to take part.
Parking available in the Ullapool High School car park.
