About this event

This evening is a space for mothers to take a break, to be held, heard and appreciated.

Deepen into the quiet and allow the quiet and being in a group of supportive mothers to replenish you. We will talk about Matrescence and the changes motherhood brings to the mind, brain and body . Enjoy a movement practice, meditative practices, sharing circle, herbs for the nervous system, and simple craft activities.

Motherhood is an exceptional time. A time of joy and immense love but also a time of huge change, challenge and transformation. It is a time where a supportive community becomes important, enabling you to be surrounded by a group of accepting, loving, caring women, who are there to hold you with presence, non-judgement and kindness wherever you are along your motherhood journey.

Do I need to bring anything?

You might want to bring a notebook, blanket, your favourite mug and comfortable clothes.

Organized by

I run foraging walks, women's circles and workshops on kitchen witchery: cooking with herbs, wild foods and herbal medicine making. I am also a qualified massage therapist, yoga teacher and Restore Your Core teacher. My aim is to foster a connection to nature, the seasons and our bodies, to develop resilience through food and movement.

I am a Community Herbalist and Nutritional Therapist, the chapter coordinator of Herbalists without Borders Central Scotland, a member of The Association of Foragers, co-organiser of the Scottish Wild Food Festival, a herbal student with the Plant Medicine School, and Founder of the non-profit Movement in Thyme CIC.
