Move • Map • Create - A Playful Movement & Body Mapping Workshop

HA3 7RGHarrow, England
Saturday, Mar 28 from 3 pm to 6 pm
Overview

Explore your emotions through guided movement and creative body mapping. Move, feel, and visually map how you feel in a safe & loving space.

What if you could see how your emotions live in your body?

In this 3-hour immersive workshop, we’ll explore four emotional landscapes - anger, stress, joy, and love - through guided movement and creative body mapping.

For each emotion, we’ll:
• Move with it
• Notice where it lives in the body
• Map it using colour, mark-making, and intuitive art

This isn’t about artistic skill.
It’s about awareness, expression, and reconnecting to your inner world in a safe and playful way.

Through somatic exploration and creative reflection, you’ll leave with a visual emotional map, and a deeper understanding of how your body holds, processes, and expresses feelings.

No dance or art experience needed.
Just curiosity and openness.

Come as you are.
Leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more connected.

🙋‍♀️ Meet Your Facilitators

Nesha – Artist & Founder of Nesha Canvas Creations

Hi, I’m Nesha (pronounced as Nee-sha), and I'm an Artist and Emotional Wellness Mentor. I enable healing through art and connection by providing safe spaces for people of all ages who may be struggling with their mental health. I inspire them to reconnect with creativity and joy, through my painting workshops filled with affirmations, creative kids club, unique fingerprint tree canvas events, market fairs, bespoke artwork, and Vulnerable Voices Podcast.

The knowledge and insight I’ve gained through my personal experiences have inspired me to dedicate my work to helping others find hope, healing, and connection through art. I’m now on a mission to extend that same sense of safety, expression, and renewal to others who may be struggling, showing that art can be a bridge back to oneself and to life.

Aditi Kaushiva – Movement Facilitator & Founder of Move to Thrive

Hi, I’m Aditi, a movement artist and founder of Move to Thrive, a wellness practice rooted in movement, mindfulness, and nervous system care. After 15+ years in dance, a high-pressure career in banking, and building an 8-figure e-commerce business, I hit burnout hard. That’s when I returned to movement, not as performance, but as medicine.

Now, I guide others to reconnect with their bodies, release stress, and rediscover joy through mindful, expressive movement, breathwork, and community connection. My approach blends Indian philosophy with playful embodiment and emotional healing.

I’ve led workshops for Google Cloud, Creative Mornings, Wellnergy Festival, and in community spaces like Centre for Better Health, Islignton Mind, LGBTQ+ Community Centre and St. Margaret’s House, always with one goal: to create safe, inclusive spaces where we can move, feel, and thrive together.

Let’s move through what weighs you down—and dance into your aliveness.
