We run a range of events for local authority planners. Often our events are subsidised by Government which means we have to be quite strict about who is allowed to sign up. If in doubt - ask us!

This workshop builds on our case study of how Milton Keynes shifted their back office system. We want to know - can we help you do it too?

This workshop explores what it means to change your back office planning system. It starts with the story of how <a href="https://www.local.gov.uk/pas/topics/digital-planning/case-studies/planning-back-office-system-upgrade" title="https://www.local.gov.uk/pas/topics/digital-planning/case-studies/planning-back-office-system-upgrade" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Milton Keynes approached it</a>, and then asks the question - are you interested in joining a cohort to support you doing something similar?We think it might involve<ul><li>project planning</li><li>specification</li><li>procurement</li><li>data migration</li><li>skills, training, roles and further development</li></ul>We're not sure - come along with your ideas and opinions. This workshop will be particularly relevant to heads of DM (and their technical support leads) who have 18 months or so on their existing license. Also those groups of councils approaching Local Government Reorganisation who know they are going to consolidate back office systems and don't just want to pick the least worst one. As usual, our events are for a local government audience and you will need a .gov email address to register. We will cancel registrations from those signing up with non-local authority email addresses. Please note that we can only accommodate one person per local authority at these events.The Teams link will be shared shortly before the event.
