Our vision is that young people will create the ballet of the futureAt National Youth Ballet we have nurtured talent for over 30 years.  We provide empowering and transformational opportunities for young performers and choreographers from around the UK.  We commission new, innovative and exciting ballets that educate, inspire and encourage creativity and collaboration.

An online workshop, for 12-18 yr olds, which will focus on developing a healthy mind and body for and through dance 

PLACES ON THIS MOVING MINDS WORKSHOP HAVE NOW SOLD OUT - however, due to demand we have arranged another - please <a href="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/moving-minds-with-nyb-tickets-140118037823">click here </a>to book for Moving Minds on Thursday 18 February at 1pm.Join National Youth Ballet (NYB) for the first ever Moving Minds session, an online workshop which will nurture young dancers' mindset and look at ways to adapt to new challenges, develop confidence and support their ongoing health and wellbeing. NYB's professional and experienced team will lead a tailored, bespoke session for 12-18 year olds, with a limited number of places to ensure an engaging experience for all participants.The session will be led by NYB practitioners, Charlie Brittain and Carrie Johnson. Charlie’s specialism in Sports Therapy and musculoskeletal health, Carrie’s in Sports Psychology and their joint experience working in professional dance make them ideal workshop leaders for this project.NYB is focussed on building and developing physical and mental resilience and confidence in young people both within and through ballet. Our Moving Minds series of workshops, each half-term, are focussed around a specific and relevant topic of health and well-being, aimed at increasing resilience and a positive mindset in young dancers.This workshop will take place via zoom. Participants will be sent details of how to log-on to the session a few days prior to the workshop.
