Amidst a fast-changing landscape, it is vital that the next generation of public servants are equipped with the skills to effectively navigate the challenges, opportunities, and nuances of policymaking in the twenty-first century.

To celebrate the launch of the University of Liverpool’s new Masters in Public Administration and Policy (MPAP) programme, join us on Wednesday 8th October for a public panel discussion on ‘The Future of Public Service’, with contributions from academics, University of Liverpool alumni, and practitioners from across the policy landscape.

This event will offer a critical exploration of the demands, pressures, and key considerations for public servants in an era of rapid transformation and widespread crisis, with insights from those working at the frontline of public policy in the United Kingdom.

The panel discussion will run from 1.00pm to 2.30pm, followed by refreshments and networking.

About the MPAP:

Launching in September 2025, the University of Liverpool’s new Masters in Public Administration and Policy (MPAP) programme, is designed for students interested in careers in government and administrative services (both nationally and internationally), NGOs and third sector organisations, advocacy groups and journalism and academia. This programme will not only build the critical knowledge necessary to analyse and evaluate the contemporary challenges facing public administration and policy, but also the capabilities to formulate the strategies needed to address them effectively.
