Tackling challenges in rare neurodevelopmental disorders: an integrated perspective

The symposium aims to spotlight the major challenges and latest developments in rare neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD) research from the viewpoint of people with lived experience, clinical researchers, basic scientists, industry and the NHS. Objectives:· Understand the overall landscape of rare NDDs.· Describe gaps in evidence and major challenges in translational research.· Learn how basic science can address key obstacles in early translation.· Appreciate the complexities of evidence generation for new drug development and approvals. To submit an abstract for a short (5 min) talk, please e-mail <a href="mailto:mrc_cndd@kcl.ac.uk" title="mailto:mrc_cndd@kcl.ac.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">mrc_cndd@kcl.ac.uk</a> with the subject “MRC CNDD Symposium, Spring 2024” and include your title, abstract (max 250 words), your name, position, co-authors and institutional affiliations. Prizes will be awarded for the best talk selected from the abstracts. Abstract submission closes on Tuesday, the 26th of March 2024, at 11:30 pm (BST).
