Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is coming, but many sole traders still feel confused about what it means, whether it applies to them, and what they actually need to do.

This two-day event has been created to change that.

Day 1:

On the first day of the event we'll talk you through the basics of MTD, who has to sign up and when. We'll also walk you step by step through signing up with HMRC, so you can get it done then and there.

Following that you'll be able to join several demos from MTD Software providers. There are many options out there, so we have chosen the ones that we feel work best for Sole Traders. Watch this space for the full line up.

After the demos you'll have the weekend to make up your mind about which software you would like to use for your MTD submissions.

Day 2:

On Monday we'll dive straight into helping you get set up with your chosen software.

This will be followed on various sessions about the basics of bookkeeping for MTD as well as how to create a manageable routine for your Bookkeeping.

This event is designed for Sole Traders who want straightforward guidance, practical support, and more confidence around MTD, without feeling overwhelmed. By the end of these two days you'll be ready to go.
