Our mission is to bring amazing art, live music and creative workshops to the South West. As a multi-arts venue, we’ve been enriching the cultural life of our community for almost 30 years from a former historic church in the heart of Ilminster. Chris Gumbley and Al Gurr revisit some much-loved jazz classics with energy, verve, and a large dose of dry humour.

Performances

Friday night is performance night. We host live music from top artists, including internationally-renowned musicians. Concerts cover a wide range of genres, including jazz, blues, folk, classical, pop and rock music. We also put on plays, talks and more!

Online sales have ended for this event, but you can still ring up the Arts Centre to book on 01460 54973. Pre-sales are available until 3pm the day of the event. Tickets are also available to buy on the door if the event is not sold out.

Much Ado About Jazz with Chris Gumbley and Al Gurr.Chris and Al revisit some much-loved (mostly) jazz classics and present them with energy and verve, so that the audience not only feel involved, but also gain an insight into how jazz musicians work on stage.
