Deptford X is a visual arts charity based in Deptford, South East London. We foster artistic talent and nurture community within the borough of Lewisham and beyond. We achieve this through a free biennial festival in Deptford and ongoing activity supporting artists and our local communities throughout the year.Founded in 1998, Deptford X is London’s longest-running visual arts festival. Every two years, we stage a free, ten-day festival, working with hundreds of artists to locate art at the centre of everyday life for all of the area’s communities.

We’d love for you to join us to ‘Mull It Over’; an evening to get together and sip on mulled wine as we reflect on the year that’s passed and the year to come at Deptford X. Come down to Lewisham Arthouse on Wednesday 14th December, 18.30 - 20.30, to get festive and share your reflections.As 2023 draws nearer, we look forward to celebrating our 25th anniversary year with a spectacular festival reminiscing on Deptford X’s incredible history. We’d love to meet those of you whose work formed the festival in the early years, as well as those who have engaged with Deptford X more recently. Feedback on your involvement, both past and future, is vital to Deptford X’s form going forward. We look forward to raising a glass of mulled wine with you!P﻿lease RSVP by reserving a free Eventbrite ticket.Accessibility: Lewisham Arthouse has step-free access and an accessible toilet. Malpas Road bus stop is 40 metres away from the entrance. Lewisham Arthouse is also 900 metres away from New Cross Gate train and overground station.
