Multi-professional Supervision Course for FCP & or ACP Supervisors

Are you aspiring to or already in a supervisor role for a registered healthcare professional colleague? Or Are you required to set up and/or provide training in your organisation, for healthcare professionals working towards becoming supervisors?

If the Answer is yes, and you have not had any previous formal supervision or mentor preparation training or if you feel you would benefit from a refresher of general principles and practice of supervision, then this course is for you!

At AECC University College, we are offering a suite of half and one-day online courses:

A. Multi-professional Supervision Course. This is a course covering the general principles and practice of supervision for a Multi-professional healthcare workforce, and is directed towards FCP and ACP supervisors. This is the foundation course that everyone must complete before moving to the learner specific course.

B. First Contact Practitioner Supervisor course. This should be undertaken by all FCP supervisors, after completion of a generic workplace supervisiory course as described above in A.

C.Advanced Clinical Practitioner Supervisor course. This is specific to ACP and is recommended for all ACP supervisors, after completion of a generic workplace supervisiory course as described above in A.

NOTE: For anyone who is interested in undertaking a much more comprehensive supervision course that would be an alternative to the Multi-professional Supervision Course (A above), AECC UC runs a level 7, 20 credit, 5 day CPD unit ‘Workplace Supervision: Supporting Health and Social Care Professionals’ unit. This is run as a stand-alone unit or as an option unit within the PGCert Health sciences education course. The next intake of this unit starts at the end of May 2024. B. First Contact Practitioner Supervisor Course

Course Dates:

Monday 29th April 2024 0900-1300

(FCP Supervisors only, Select Ticket option 2 at checkout (free) Only to attend the FCP Supervisor course)

C. Advanced Clinical Practitioner Supervisor Course

Course Dates:

Monday 24th June 2024 0900-15:00

(ACP Supervisors select ticket option 3 at checkout (£200) to attend both the Multi-professional post-reg Supervision Course and ACP Supervisor Course or ticket option 4 at checkout to attend the ACP Supervisor course only)
