What should I bring?

Wetsuit
Wet Shoes/Boots or old trainers NOT Crocks or Flip Flops.
Buoyancy Aid
Suncream & Sun Hat (Beanie if cold)
Spare Clothes
Lunch & Snacks for the day.
If you require any of the water sport items, we recommend purchasing from  Ships & Giggles www.shipsandgiggles.je

Do I need to bring Lunch?

Yes, sailors should bring their own pack lunch and snacks! Don't forget lots of water!!

Where do we meet?

Course instructors will be waiting outside the RCIYC building for cadets.

Question 4

What age is this for?

Accepted Answer

The Learn to sail course is for children aged from 8 years old on the 31st of December.  There is no upper limit, but generally participants go up 16 years old.

Question 5

Do I need to be a member of the RCIYC?

Accepted Answer

The course fee includes cadet membership of the club.  If your child is already a member please email david@rciyc.je to arrange a re-fund after booking
