Event description
Multiplicity is a non-for profit design/creative event created and hosted by Foilco.

About this Event

The format is simple; a creative event that brings together designers, illustrators, photographers and artists in one space for one night.

Never hosted in the same location twice, Multiplicity moves from city to city to collectively join the creative minds of its community.

For the first time ever we are leaving UK shores to meet in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, with the aim of inspiring the room with a line-up of speakers identified as the very best in their respective fields.

An international evening of words and works. Hosted by Foilco and Dreyer Kliche.

Creativity is as much about the possibilities as it is about the outcome. The possibilities are endless and this potential demonstrates why strategic creative thinking in graphic design is more relevant than ever.

Our guest speakers are renowned practitioners in the design of iconic visual identities for consumer brands and cultural institutions. We will hear how they strive to deliver world-class strategic design and project management for clients the world over, examine their work and learn of unique collaborative working processes which have enabled clearer strategy and design. We examine their work and learn of their unique collaborative working process, during which strategy and design become clearer, simpler and richer in meaning.

This event is for those who creatively push the boundaries, and equally, for those who are focused on learning about creativity, and what it is that inspires the compelling work they see before them.

This year’s line-up of incredible speakers include;

Anthony Burrill

Graphic artist, print-maker and designer Anthony Burrill is known for his persuasive, up-beat style of communication.

His work is held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, New York and has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Barbican Art Gallery, the Walker Art Center and the Design Museum, London.

Simultaneously, he studied advertising at the KY Academy (currently YRGO) in Gothenburg from 2008 to 2010. The education placed emphasis on the creative process and included a six month internship, which was conducted at their own one year old studio, where they were already taking client work.

Sarah Boris
