About this event

If you need a numeracy certificate fast for work, college or to help you get on in life, this is the course for you. And it's free!

We will meet for 8 weekly 2-hour sessions at The Inkwell in Elgin. The course will cover the learning and assessments for SQA Numeracy Core Skills at level 3 or level 4, qualifications that employers and educators recognise the value of. The course is completely free and we'll supply learning materials and a reference book. Just bring yourself and a notebook!

We know that maths is scary for some people. As tutors, we are experienced at helping people through their anxiety and building confidence. We want everyone to succeed.

I left school without a maths qualification - why is this going to be any different?

Numeracy learning is rooted in the skills we all need in real life - no algebra is involved! We'll support you and find the best way for you to learn.

We organise community based events such as driving theory, money matters, local history and much more. We also offer family learning events where families can learn together and have fun. These include nature walks, STEM sessions, crafts, circus skills, first aid, map reading and much more
