Ride with us to makeover the magical murals on Naburn Bridge!
Over the last 4 years, we have painted 4 colourful murals on walking and cycling paths across the city. They are all still looking good but some, like the one on Naburn Bridge pictured, are in need of a spot of community TLC.
That's where we need you ... to help restore these works of art to their former glory and create a better environment for local walkers and cyclists to enjoy - and brighten up everyone's day!
We will ride out together from Millennium Bridge to Naburn and spend a day getting creative together, under the guidance of artist Liz Collier who designed all the original murals.
You are guaranteed an unforgettable day of creativity, socialising and the satisfaction of a community good deed. Bring gloves, lunch and a drink.
Meet on the middle of the Millennium Bridge at 11am to cycle there, or at the site on the cycle path at Naburn Bridge, just past Bishopthorpe/ Brunswick Organic Nursery to start at 12 noon.
Thanks to funding from City of York Council's Forgotten Corner's fund.
