Museums at Night at Oldknow's Gothic Lime Kilns
Sat 29 October 2016, 12:00 – 17:00 BST
Join us for an interesting (and slightly spooky) afternoon of activities for all the family and help us celebrate museums at night. This jam packed event has something for everyone, from tours of the latest archaeology and mini-geology walks, to bat-tastic crafts and a train set!
Leave plenty of time to create a paper bag lantern to take home, or bring it with you on our special dusk walk to spot dusk wildlife and enjoy the spooky atmosphere. Book a ticket for our dusk walk at 4pm.
Activities and tours start at the Social and Forces Club
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Suitable for all ages, children bring an adult please.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Please use local car parks as street parking is limited. Car parks at nearby Memorial Park and on Trinity Street, both are 5 minutes walk and 20p per hour. You can use a Ringo parking app or phone number if you don't have correct change.
The nearest railway station is Marple (not Marple Rose Hill) and the event is a 15 minute walk from there (up a hill!)
