Town House

Born and died in Kingston upon Thames, Eadweard Muybridge (1830-1904) is famous for his pioneering sequence photography of animals and humans in motion. Kingston Museum holds an extensive world-class Muybridge collection. The collection recently returned to Kingston from an off-site store to a new home Kingston University's award-winning Town House. To celebrate the relocation of the collection, the Kingston Museum is hosting exclusive object-viewing sessions. The events will take place at Kingston University's Archives, situated on the second floor of the Town House.
