Join maker Ross Bennett to learn the heritage techniques of hand brush making with natural fibres. We'll use natural fibres and offcut woods so you can take home a completely unique object.
You'll be guided through the process of making a brush head with hand tools and hand finishes. Alongside creating the fibre brush plugs. The whole process will be supported and you don't need any previous experience.

Parking available on the road, road is steep and our yard is uneven.
Roller shutter access brings you directly into the workshop
everything on one level.
air filters run to allow any wood dust to be filtered (low level noise)
no windows but strip lighting and if warm enough open shutter can provide light.
Toilet is on ground floor but door through office not wheel chair accessable.
Heeley city farm is 5 mins up the road and has accessible toilet.
