Nature Club at the Science Oxford Centre

Everyone loves owls, and we all know how great they are at carrying magical letters. Did you know they can fly silently, hear the tiniest leaf rustling in the undergrowth – and eat their prey whole? Budding bird-lovers get stuck in dissecting owl pellets, and investigate what the owls of Oxfordshire have been eating! Explore habitats and behaviours of potential prey, and build little mouse-houses in the woodland. Back in the wise-owl workshop, get crafty and make an owl-themed mobile to take home. What a hoot!

What is included in your ticket:

90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult

Access to:

- Access to the woodland and outdoor areas from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

- Cafe 10am - 4pm

- Parking (limited availability)

What is NOT included:

- Access to the Exploration Zone

Event Details

All Nature Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!

£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee)

One child and accompanying adult

£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. All attendees need a ticket; for under 3’s we recommend a visit to the Family Day instead.

Emira's Kitchen café at the Science Oxford Centre is open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and rolls. Families are welcome to bring picnics to eat at our lunch tables.

Due to the ongoing site improvement works, you may notice some changes to the area immediately outside the centre.
