Stirley nature reserve is managed byYorkshire Wildlife Trust. This former dairy farm is a haven for wildlife in the making. At our West Yorkshire events base you may spot our team or active volunteers shaping this rural landscape into a diverse patchwork of nature-friendly habitats.

Monthly outdoor, adventurous play for pre-school children and toddlers.

It's never too early to be inspired by nature! Explore the great outdoors through fun and stimulating activities at Stirley. Our friendly and inclusive Nature Tots sessions are specially designed for children aged four and under to learn with their parent/carer.Each session will have a special theme, be it based on a book, season or wildlife. We can't wait to meet you and your adventurous little ones!

<h3>Embrace your wild side - what to expect:</h3>Please note, children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event.What to bring/wearOur Nature Tots session take place outside throughout the year so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Please wear appropriate outdoor footwear and clothing. On sunny days, don&#x27;t forget your sun hat and sun lotion! Please bring plenty of fluids too. Toilets and cateringThere is an accessible toilet at Stirley, but no facilities serving hot or cold food or drinks.Covid-19 secureIf you have tested positive or think you may have Covid-19 we ask you to stay at home. Please contact Supporter Services if this is the case and your booking will be refunded. Please note that during larger events there is limited parking available, which is prioritised for people with mobility issues.During busy times, please park at Castle Hill, walk back to Ashes Lane and turn left, the footpath to Stirley is opposite the bus stop on the right and near Castle House Farm Cottages.
