This event will begin with our branch annual meeting, followed by an engaging session on the latest developments in the employment rights bill. Greg Clark, Senior Associate at BP Collins, will deliver an insightful update, highlighting key developments.

Greg will then lead interactive focus group discussions, offering people professionals the opportunity to explore the potential practical impacts of proposed legislative reforms, share preparations and planned actions, and facilitating idea sharing, with others.

Following an engaging session on the latest developments in the employment rights bill led by Greg Clark from B P Collins, Greg will facilitate our focus group discussions, where we’ll take a deeper dive into the proposed legislative changes anticipated.

Meet our speaker

Greg Clark – Senior Associate at B P Collins

Greg is a senior associate in B P Collins’ employment and business immigration teams. He advises employers, employees, and senior executives on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on mental health-related disability discrimination. Greg also regularly supports businesses with sponsor licences and visa applications under the UK’s points-based immigration system.

Greg qualified in 2020 and was promoted to senior associate in April 2025. He studied law at Oxford and spent a year in Paris as part of his degree.

Outside work, Greg enjoys training his golden retriever in dog agility and growing extra-spicy chillies for homemade hot sauce.

The CIPD Branch in Chiltern is an important local hub for HR professionals, providing opportunities for continuous professional development and two way communication with Head Office, as well as providing a local touch-point for CIPD members with opportunities for networking.

The CIPD Branch in Chiltern stretches from Maidenhead, Slough and Windsor in the south, to the Vale of Aylesbury in the north, and from Marlow in the west to Gerrards Cross and Amersham in the east (SL0-SL4, SL6-SL9, HP5-HP22, HP27).

The branch has around 2,200 members from all levels and specialisms across the people profession. From directors to students, we have established links with businesses in the local area as well as Buckinghamshire New University, an important local provider of CIPD qualifications.

We run monthly online discussion events, plus regular Branch events throughout each year, some in-person and others online, focused on a number of important topics.

We also have two specialist groups

- one for those seeking their next (or first) role within the people profession and

- one for HR professionals in small and mid-sized organisations (up to 250 employees)
