Navigating the Menopause

Navigating the Menopause

Overview

Going through the menopause? Get the knowledge you need to help you have a healthy & happy menopause.

There is no one magic bullet to a healthy menopause, but a combination of diet & lifestyle changes can be transformative.

We have created an innovative 5-week programme to support women who are experiencing menopause and perimenopause symptoms. This is run by Rebecca Heazell (Registered Nutritionist) and Jane Bartholomew (Somatic Therapist) trading as The Wellbeing Rooms. Rebecca and Jane are experienced therapists supporting women during menopause and those experiencing stress, mental and physical health challenges.

Sessions will run once a week for 5 weeks from 10.30am - 12.30pm at St Matthew's Community Hub, Stretford on Thursdays from 26th Feb until 26th March 2026.

You will:

  • Learn about the wide range of symptoms: emotional, physiological & psychological, that perimenopause and menopause can cause.
  • Get trusted information about HRT, herbal supplements & vitamins.
  • Learn about what and how to eat to support your health
  • Learn breathwork, deep relaxation techniques and simple yoga practices to incorporate into your daily life.
  • Have the option to have taster sessions of breathwork, reflexology and individually tailored nutritional advice.
  • Share your experiences and meet women going through the same issues

Women who have previously done the course have found it 'brilliant', 'like a breath of fresh air' and 'life-changing'. We passionately believe ALL women should have access to trustworthy information about the menopause and what they can do to help reduce their symptoms and increase their health.

The total programme cost is £30, with low cost options for women on a low income.

You only need to register for the first session on 26th Feb to sign up to the whole programme.
