About this event

May I ask you a question? In these difficult times, we often focus more on the things that pull us apart than the things that bring us together. Would you be up for a day where we talk in a friendly, open way and explore the stories that are true for us?

The National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) is hosting this special Identity, Difference & Equity workshop in the heart of Brighton. This is a space to openly, seriously, and joyously discuss our life experiences.

What to expect

This workshop is for everyone. Whether you are looking to improve your leadership skills, support your local neighbourhood, or simply connect with others, you are welcome here.

During the day, we will:

• Share our stories: Explore how our backgrounds and identities shape how we see the world.
• Build bridges: Discover how much we truly have in common with people who seem "different."
• Create unity: Learn practical tools to lead with equity and respect in our daily lives.
• Find joy: Experience a day filled with shared laughter and meaningful insights that can positively change how we live and work.
