Overview
Free, volunteer-led walks for new and expectant parents to meet, chat and share experiences — supporting each other through early parenthood
Join us for a lap of West Park, meeting at the Albert Road entrance at 10.30am and followed by an optional visit to a local cafe. Suitable for parents and carers (including grandparents) of babies up to pre-schoolers, and expecting parents.
This is a free event and NCT membership is not required. There is an opportunity for an optional donation when you register.
Led by NCT volunteers, our NCT Walk and Talk groups give new and expectant parents the opportunity to:
- get outdoors with their babies on a safe and accessible route
- improve their mental health and wellbeing
- make new friends and feel part of a community
