Needling for Podiatrists

Belinda and Ian are bringing their needling to the West Country !

This is an in person only event- no online streaming will be taking place.

This face-to-face CPD day is open to HCPC registered Podiatrists that the hold current POM-A annotation. It is not a competency-based training day because Verrucae Needling is not considered to be extended scope of practice.

The Royal College of Podiatry have confirmed that members who attend this course, will be covered by their indemnity insurance to perform this procedure.

Current podiatry students and new graduates can attend.

Pre-reading documents, copies of the presentations and videos will be sent (via Google Drive), one week before the event.

Certificates of attendance will be issued after the event.

Programme Outline:

· VPs – Aetiology and manifestation of HPV associated warts/verrucae

· Verrucae management and the evidence base

· Local anaesthesia (Update) – anatomy, theory, techniques, demo and videos

· Verrucae Needling – theory and videos

Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm (ish)

Venue: Crowne Plaza, Plymouth Hoe

Includes lunch and refreshments (dad jokes are free).
