UK’s leading property advice charity the Ethical Property Foundation is delighted to offer this free property workshop for non-profit organisations in partnership with Kingston Voluntary Action, Richmond Upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service, Croydon Voluntary Action and the Wandsworth Care Alliance.
Venue: The Canbury Pavilion Community Centre, Lower Ham Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT2 5AU

1:1 Advice Clinic - 1.30pm - 3.30pm
You will work with real life case studies from similar organisations and learn:

To demystify some of the legal jargon in leases

About the lease process and to negotiate the right lease for your organisation

About the principles of a Heads of Terms document
-
About different types of agreement – lease vs licence
-
To recognise and manage common problem areas, such as rent reviews, break clauses

About principles to follow when reviewing or terminating your lease
