Neolithic Stargazing

Highland Astronomy and Abriachan Forest Trust

In collaboration with the Highland Archaeology Festival, Highland Astronomy Tours and Abriachan Forest Trust.
A night of stargazing, ancient astronomy and storytelling at Abriachan Forest with night sky guiding from astronomer Stephen Mackintosh. This event will follow on from Abriachan's Wolf Brother for families, part of the Highland Archaeology Festival Format will be weather dependent so please book with confidence. If we're lucky to get clear skies we'll be out under the stars with binoculars followed by campfire stories with ranger Clelland McCallum. Otherwise Stephen will present an informative talk on ancient stargazing in the forest classroom, with virtual software guiding and  activities for younger participants.  Refreshments available.
Due to site and classroom capacity, booking is essential.  Admission is free for under 16s with accompanying adults but please inform Abriachan of any large booking requests. 
Free transport to Abriachan and back may be available on request - please contact abriachanforest@gmail.com or call 01463 861236.
