We aim to bring together a wide range of businesses to identify shared support needs, collaborative opportunities and share knowledge across the region; signposting to research, expertise and business services.With the support of Midlothian Council, one of our Partners, Forum attendees will visit the newly built Energy Training Academy, to showcase a <a href="https://theenergytrainingacademy.com/net-zero-home/" title="https://theenergytrainingacademy.com/net-zero-home/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Net Zero Home</a> - a one-of-a-kind initiative, uniquely combining hands-on training for renewable engineers, educational outreach for children, and a living demonstration of sustainable technologies.Prepare to be blown away, the Net Zero Home serves as a model for achieving a net-zero EPC rating with its array of eco-friendly technologies. A testament to sustainable possibilities, showcasing how innovative technologies like solar energy, smart heating, and efficient design can come together to create a more eco-friendly living space. It’s a practical example of how we can achieve a net-zero EPC rating, inspiring a step towards a greener future.This is a great opportunity to see this state of the art training facility dedicated to building the new generation of engineers and to learn more about a fully functional home equipped with state of the art eco-friendly technologies.
