If you have a passion for your business and enjoy being out of your office to chat in the fresh air, then netwalking might be the answer to your networking needs.
Netwalking is a totally different concept from regular networking, combining the relaxed informality of a walk in the countryside with a chance to share the experience with some different people. Walking tends to encourage conversation, and there is a natural tendency to chat and mingle with fellow walkers. There will be no high-powered sales pitching or pressure to make referrals.
The format of the walk will ensure that you get to meet many of the other walkers as we will walk in pairs and swap walking partners at intervals.
The walk itself will not be over strenuous or fast paced but at a pace to suit all and will be approximately 4 miles in length. It should take about 90 minutes to complete.
What will I need to bring with me?
Of course we’re hoping for a lovely morning but do bring a light waterproof and wear sturdy shoes as we will be walking on unpaved footpaths which may be muddy.
Bring along your business cards to share contact details with other netwalkers.
What can’t I bring with me?
As this is ultimately a meeting for business as well as a social meeting, children and dogs are best left at home.
