About Kelly

Kelly Hoey is a strategist and author specialising in the power of networks. Her first book, Build Your Dream Network, demystified modern connection. Her next, The Social Billionaire, reveals why women must build networks differently—and how the right connections accelerate every ambition.

A former lawyer who reinvented her career through the strength of her networks, Kelly has worked with organisations including Google, Cisco, Pfizer, Prudential, Capital One, The Tory Burch Foundation, IEEE, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, National Bank of Australia, Canadian Digital Media Network, Sumitomo Mitsui, AON, and Westpac. She is also a limited partner in two venture capital funds.

Kelly has appeared on CNBC, co-created Apple’s Meet The Innovators series, and has been featured in a range of media outlets including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vogue.com, Inc., Fast Company, Forbes, and Good Morning America. Her talks inspire audiences to take action, instil confidence, and demonstrate how relationships drive results.

This session will run from 8:30–10:00 AM on Thursday, 8 January 2026, in Studio 2 of the ONE Tech Hub, Aberdeen.
