Thursday, Jan 8, 2026 from 8:30 am to 10 am GMT
Overview

A special workshop for digital tech founders looking to build influence, visibility, and traction through intentional relationships

Ambition alone isn’t enough - and traditional networking advice often misses the mark (especially for women).

What is it?

In this high-impact session, networking strategist and author, J. Kelly Hoey shares a bold, practical approach to building the network success truly demands. This isn’t another “just put yourself out there” pep talk - it’s a strategic blueprint for how to build influence, visibility, and traction through intentional relationships.

What can I expect?

Whether you’re aiming for venture funding, building a board of advisors, connecting with strategic partners, or planning your next leap, you’ll leave with a framework, real-world tools, and the confidence to start designing the network that gets you where you want to go.

To get the most out of the 90-minute session with Kelly, please come to this workshop with:

  • A clear goal or outcome you want to accomplish in Q1 2026.
  • Your answers to the network audit exercise outlined in the sample chapter of Kelly’s forthcoming book, The Social Billionaire.
  • An open mind.

Who else will be there?

You will be joined by other founders and those looking to make progress in 2026 with their business. This in-person session will be led by Kelly Hoey, Author and Networking Strategist who is based in New York City.

About Kelly:

Kelly Hoey, a strategist and author on the power of networks. Her first book, Build Your Dream Network, demystified modern connection. Her next, The Social Billionaire, reveals why women must build networks differently - and how the right connections accelerate every ambition. A former lawyer who reinvented her career through the strength of her networks, Kelly has worked with a variety of organizations including Google, Cisco, Pfizer, Prudential, Capital One, The Tory Burch Foundation, IEEE, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, National Bank of Australia, Canadian Digital Media Network, Sumitomo Mitsui, AON and Westpac, and is a limited partner in two venture capital funds. She has appeared on CNBC, co-created Apple’s Meet The Innovators series and been featured in range of media outlets including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vogue.com, Inc., Fast Company, Forbes, and Good Morning America.
