Networking for Creatives
Join us for a casual chat and a variety of drinks and snacks.
Share what you can help people with, and what (if anything) you need help with, in a small friendly group.
There will also be lightning talks on the topic of how we market our creative businesses (3 speakers, 5 mins each). Feel free to add in your own five mins, or just absorb everyone else's.
Open to all kinds of creatives - we don’t discriminate!
What you’ll get:
- The opportunity to network with a bunch of friendly local people.
- A mini goody bag to take home.
- The option to explore The Createry and all our creative spaces.
- More drinks and snacks than you can humanly eat.
This event is for you if:
- You identify as a creative.
- You want to meet people in Nottingham and chat about what you love.
- Optional: You have a challenge you want to solve (e.g. marketing your creative products or services!)
Location: 4 Castle Quay, NG7 1FW (just off Castle Boulevard, opposite The Park).
Public Transport: The Skylink bus stops outside, or it’s approx a 10-15 min walk from the bus station, Nottingham railway station, and the railway station tram stop.
Parking: Please email hello@thecreatery.co (no “m”!) to reserve a free parking spot. Once those are gone, there’s cheap parking on Castle Boulevard (60p/hr) or you could park in the retail park and walk over the bridge.
Accessibility: Please note that this event will be held up a flight of stairs.

Coming alone? One of the team can welcome you at the door and introduce you to a couple of people so you don’t feel awkward. Just let us know you need a buddy!
