Networking for Creatives

Networking events often put the onus of an outcome on the attendees but at this one, we take that responsibility back and present you instead with a collection of opportunities.

At our event, you can expect to:

1. Attend a workshop by Bloom Skills Employment (BSE) on 'How to Pitch Yourself in the Arts'
2. Exhibit an artwork in a table pop-up exhibition curated by ASC Exhibitions Director Darren O'Brien and receive personalised feedback on your work from him.
3. Meet all kinds of creative people ranging from commercial photographers to painters, jewellers and puppeteers.
4. Have a chance to win a £50 cash prize just by entering and displaying your work! A certificate can be provided on request.

If you plan to exhibit your work, please note the following:

• All exhibiting artists will need to drop off their work at the venue between 11:00 and 11:30am on the day and collect their works between 4:00 and 4:15pm on the same day.
• All works will remain on display for the duration of the event from 12:00 - 16:00.
• Entering your work in the exhibition will automatically qualify you to win a £50 cash prize, should your artwork be selected. One award for best artwork selected by our panel will be announced at the end of the event.
• Due to space constraints, please ensure that your artwork is able to be displayed on a 60cm by 60cm tabletop
• You may only submit more than one artwork if they are very small.
• All media of work are permitted as long as they can sit on a flat tabletop and can be comfortably displayed within an area of 60cm by 60cm.
• ASC reserves the right to reject any submission if found unsuitable for public display. If in doubt about your work, please email us.
